The devaluation of women’s contribution to the country’s social, economic, and cultural development is a form of discrimination carried out by men who have little vision, and a lot of power, and ignore easily perceptible realities.
It would be very ignorant to say that more men than women farm in Mozambique.
The truth is that there are more male farmers receiving tractors, motorcycles and motor pumps than female farmers.
We need to ensure that women have the same access to opportunities as men.
